Vault one-zero-one is the second youngest of four brothers birthed by Gwei Lai. He shares the same markings as his brothers and fathers, but his fur is a different shade to his brothers. Raised as the runt of the litter once his younger brother had gone missing. His brothers Jin-Sang and Shi-Renzu made it their mission to make his life hell. Despite the anger problem that runs in the family, Vault showed more resistance against it as a cub, while his brothers fought a lot.

Vaults name comes from his ability to control his temper more than his brothers. But pushed to a certain point and he does lose it. Becoming a prisoner at a lion tribe in Africa he suffered many beatings from a lion named Demynx. His attempted assassination of their queen left him in exile, but he didn't leave alone. Demynx came with him.

Making their own pride, they decided to run it together. As more and more lions joined a new threat came afoot, a rogue lion Ilex. Their conflict has lead to many strives and struggles since.
